TransAm Hits Wall Going 140mph – Ohio Boys Racing

Imagine yourself going 140mph… if you’ve done once or twice not so scary, right? Now imagine yourself going 140mph with no steering. Needless to say it’s an entirely different ballgame when you can’t control the direction of the iron missile you’re driving down the track.

After popping a wheelie off the starting line, the steering shaft came off of the Ohio Boys Racing Pontiac Trans Am, rendering the car’s steering useless. That’s definitely a major scare when traveling at such high speeds. Luckily the car didn’t do anything more than what you see in the video as it grazed the wall and came to a stop. It was back up and running in no time!
