Nowadays, it seems like just about everything, especially in the world of cars, is controlled in some way, shape, or form by an electronic device.

If you find yourself locked out of an older car, though, or maybe a car that is quite basic in trim level, there is quite a simple method to finding your way back into your ride.

By simply making a loop in a piece of string and threading it into your door, you can manage to grab onto the locking mechanism inside and pop it open.
