Unmarked Mustang Police Car Pulls Over C8 Corvette (First C8 Traffic Stop?)
We’re pretty sure that everyone with a sports car has been there. You’re driving down the highway, when all of a sudden, you see another sports car of the rival brand nearby. Maybe you roll up next to this car and stab the throttle a little bit, trying to play around with a potential competitor on the highway. As it turns out, driving like this isn’t necessarily the most legal situation in the world. It might be tempting but staying out of the throttle could be your best bet.
When it comes to Louisville, Kentucky, that sentiment is especially true. In Louisville, that rival sports car might just happen to be a police officer. As it turns out, the locality actually does have a Ford Mustang operating as an unmarked police vehicle. When we take a look at something like that, it almost seems unfair. Hey, life isn’t fair, though. Right?
In this one, it’s kind of hard to say what exactly happened to get the car pulled over. However, what we see in the clip provided by the Chevy Dude YouTube channel might just be the first C8 Chevrolet Corvette ever pulled over. The clip was originally posted in September of last year. That leads us to think that this is some sort of test vehicle. After all, the C8 has yet to make its way to those that ordered the vehicle as of late February 2020.
By following along with the video below, we get to see the situation as the C8 is pulled to the side of the road. Our logic would probably tell us that this driver had pushed it too far. It would be pretty hard not to when behind the wheel of a supercar that the world has yet to see.
As our uploader reminds us, though, it’s rather impossible to pinpoint what exactly happened. This driver is innocent until proven guilty.
