BADASS Volvo Amazon Puts The HURT On A Ferrari 458!
The term “sleeper” is thrown around a lot. It can be used in a variety of different ways to describe anything from a grocery getter to a grudge car and it’s tough to pin down the essence of the concept.
Today, we bring you our idea representation of what we thing that a sleeper is in material form. Meet the Volvo Amazon. This beast of a station wagon rolled off of the assembly line in 1967 and even to the current day, we don’t think that anyone would expect it to roll out the way that it does.
Power comes from a 2.8-liter turbocharged inline-six made by Volvo and thanks to some extreme mods, the car makes right in the ballpark of 799hp and 723 lb-ft when running on E85 fuel. Check out the video below as this super wagon picks on a 590hp Ferrari 458. Even if we told you what was about to happen, most people still probably couldn’t have seen this one coming!
