Why Did These Cops Tell a Driver He’s Not Allowed To Go To His Own House?
If you follow along with a certain community, you will find that there are some people out there who will go above and beyond when it comes to defending what they see to be their rights. This means that if the situation like we see in this video unfolds where there is a checkpoint leading into a neighborhood, that people who are part of this community will not want to share their identification to the police just because they are not required to by law. On the other hand, the police say that they’re just trying to prevent people from entering the area for their own safety because of a nearby sinkhole.
Normally, when involved in a situation like this, the person who was trying to go through this checkpoint would try to hash it out on the spot and be done with it, if they even had an issue with the circumstances. However, after a little bit of a struggle with law-enforcement where the driver didn’t want to show his identification and law enforcement sat there and waited until they could identify the individual, he decided he didn’t really like how they handled the issue and therefore, after making his way home, would go back to the checkpoint to try and interrogate one of the officers running it.
In the video below, you’ll watch as the individual attempts to poke at the police officer and get as much information out as he wants. Now, I personally think that even though he might have a point about his rights, there could be other better ways to go about doing something like this but I think that others would probably fight the contrary. After absorbing this video, be sure to tell us what you think about this man’s efforts to try and support his rights as an American.
