Springless valvetrain for pushrod engines
When it comes to using an engine sporting the pushrod design, the valve springs that you use are of the utmost importance to a smooth running experience.
Such springs has been used for years, but this time, we come across an engineer who thinks that he has a better idea to combat some of the issues that valve springs bring about.
With the use of a springless valvetrain, the guys at Decuir Engine Technologies plan on relieving engine builders of worrying about spring pressure and the possibility of spring breakage along with taking out the loss of power due to friction in traditional setups.
