1969 Plymouth Road Runner called “Hate Tank” No Prep Drag Racing (KOTS)
If you were to close your eyes and picture a grudge car that’s known as the “Hate Tank,” what exactly would it be that you picture? For us, the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner that goes by that name definitely fits the picture quite well. If there were a list of cars that you wouldn’t want to run into in a dark alleyway, we would probably include this one toward the top of that list as it definitely omits a kind of vibe that really demands your attention and makes words like “sinister” come to mind as you watch the car shred through some tires and roll to the starting line.
In this particular application, we join a little bit of no prep drag racing action at King of the Streets as the sinister 69 Road Runner rolls up to the starting line and makes its presence felt. This thing absolutely screams and demands attention as it has an essence that you’re not going to want to miss.
In this particular battle, the car might not have gotten the victory in all of the races but I think that this video focuses a little bit more on form than function, appreciating exactly how this thing is able to carry itself in a racing scenario that might just have you wanting to see more. The no prep didn’t seem to be agreeing with the 69 that day but it surely is still an incredibly exciting ride!
If you follow along in the video below, you’ll be able to witness exactly what it’s like to watch such a big and bad car go drag racing. Over the course of three races, it only managed to pick up one victory but this is a car that we think could definitely pack a heavy punch when the dust settles. If you’re a fan of no prep racing, we would probably recommend keeping an eye out to see exactly what comes next from a beast like this.
