Hydraulic Press Test Goes Up Against Hydraulic Jack, Jack Stands

With the likes of the Hydraulic Press Channel, we have been able to see some pretty crazy things that were put to the test to see just how much pressure they would be able to withstand before giving in. With a whole variety of different objects under their belt, the channel surges on, always trying to come up with something different and see just where the limits lie with a bunch of objects from all sorts of different categories. This time, it just so happens to be those objects that you use to hold up your car every time that you do something like change the oil or rotate tires.

In this one, it’s nothing other than your traditional floor jack and jack stands that are being put to the test. Naturally, these items are designed to hold thousands of pounds with their structure, as they keep a car or truck up over your head with each stand or jack serving a weight limit depending on what kind of vehicle you’re working with. However, before long, you would think that a  hydraulic press would be able to overpower each and every one of them at some point as these things put out an unprecedented amount of torque, especially when you’re comparing it to the downward force of gravity on your vehicle.

It really seems like this isn’t a matter of “if” but rather “when” some of these devices are going to give into the pressure. It’s a pretty big game of suspense to see what is all going to go down and all you can do is sit and wait, anticipating what’s sure to come.
