When it comes to the Fast and Furious movies, I think that most will agree that there’s one car that trumps them all. Sure, there is a debate to be had. It’s definitely not a shoe-in as the definite favorite. However, we would think that the odds on favorite would be Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Charger.

I mean, come on. How could you not absolutely fall in love with this thing? It seemed so perfect in every way.

The car was just cast so well for the role and provided such a powerful presence on screen. It’s not far fetched to think that the entire franchise would be on a different axis without this vehicle choice. In fact, the Mopar B body platform is one of the mainstays that has managed to grow roots in the franchise. You’ll notice Toretto wheeling lots of cars in the family.

In short order, the Charger would become the machine that dreams are made of. However, for those who understand things about cars and about Hollywood, it’s not hard to realize that some aspects were dramatized for the sake of the movie. That’s right, not all of the stunts were exactly real.
