Tesla Takes on a Forza Tuned 1100hp Trackhawk From a Dig!
When we take a look across the automotive performance landscape these days, it’s rather interesting to see how things stack up. Sure, some of the usual suspects are lurking around the top of the list. However, I’m not sure that many of us expected to see electric cars moving up said list so quickly.
However, with the efforts of a company like Tesla, that’s exactly the case. No matter what vehicle is in the next lane over, they’re sure to be at least slightly concerned about what the electric offering is going to deliver. These cars have proven to pack quite a heavy punch thanks to instantaneous torque and consistency due to the electric power onboard.
This time, though, we check-in as a Tesla really meets its match. When it comes to being able to get out of the hole, it’s going to be tough to compete with something like the Tesla Model 3 Long Range Performance that we see here. Again, that electric power and the all-wheel-drive combination can be rather lethal in the first 60 feet.
However, if there’s a machine that we know is going to have a great chance to throw down with the electric ride, it’s something like Forza Tuned’s 1100 hp Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Sure, the Jeep might be at a little bit of a disadvantage with the incredible weight behind it. However, Forza has this thing set up properly so that it can be a performer in a drag race like this.
Down in the video below, we get to meet with Forza Tuned owner, Brenton Brown. In the video, we get to see Brenton’s reaction to driving around in the Tesla. However, the main event comes when the two vehicles throw down in an all-out drag race.
