This Custom Built Work Truck is Basically a Real Life Transformer
When it comes to pickup trucks, one of the factors that most folks are looking for is a little bit of functionality. Sometimes, trucks are just purchased for their looks but most people who pick them up are looking to get some sort of job done. Naturally, this job might vary in scope from person to person. However, there are some features that we think most pickup truck owners would just absolutely love to have.
This time, we tune in with a truck that has all that and then some. This thing is set up to get the job done and it doesn’t sacrifice its appearance, either.
Of course, there are a lot of options when it comes to transforming a traditional truck into something with a little bit more utility. In fact, there are companies that specialize in creating bodies that go in place of a typical bed and provide all sorts of different storage or functional components depending on the job.
In this build, though, we don’t have to deal with the eyesore that is one of these big steel beds. Instead, the creator behind this one, Brad DeBerti, decided to go completely custom. Naturally, something like this is going to be a little bit more expensive But for those who want a functional truck that also looks good, this is downright amazing.
On the Ford Super Duty, we find space for tools, a welder, and even a plasma cutter. This is accomplished through a variety of bed panels that are able to be lifted on hinges that unveil an ultimate storage system beneath. When all is said and done, the truck actually looks a little bit more like a transformer than it does a pickup.
That’s not where the fun stops, though, as this build that was completed in 90 days even has a custom interior and some work done under the hood for added fun. Following along with the video below, we get the rundown on everything that makes this truck incredibly special. Keep those eyes peeled because the trick touches just don’t seem to stop!
