Boddie Collides Into A Wall In Confrontation Against Lizzy Musi | Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings
One of the wild things about drag racing is that you truly never know what’s going to happen. One moment, a pass might be going according to plan. The next, things can get bad in a hurry. While sometimes, the unpredictable nature of the sport can provide amazing moments like photo finishes, other times, it provides moments that we would all like to just forget about and put behind us.
This time, we take a ride to No Prep Kings to check in with an incident that involved racer, Boddie, as he threw down with Lizzy Musi.
We would presume that before this one went down, Boddie had experienced a pass that was like a lot of others that has made in his racing career. However, about halfway into the matter, things went from calm to rather violent as the machine slid out of the groove and into the wall. The hit was hard and did a substantial amount of damage
One of the tricky parts of no prep is that sometimes, without a sticky track surface, all of that power can be quick to get away from drivers. This time, though, oil would be the culprit. After the wreck, Boddie unveiled that the car broke a rod that then went through the block, dousing the tires in oil which meant that keeping the machine under control was no longer an option.
Fortunately, Boddie was able to walk away physically unscathed. However, he does say that this one adds insult to injury because he was incredible confident with how the car was running. It’s not always easy to get a combination dialed in just right but in this situation, Boddie had finally felt like he did just that moments before the unfortunate wreck unfolded.
