Rashee Rice, Lambo and Vette Street Racing Time Of Collision
The Dallas Police Department has informed the news media that during an incident in Dallas, Texas, individuals associated with a Lamborghini and a Corvette fled the scene. The Corvette, believed to be linked to Rashee Rice, a player for the Kansas City Chiefs, was reportedly involved in a six-vehicle accident.
As reported by The Dallas Morning News, authorities are actively seeking Rashee Rice, a 23-year-old wide receiver, following the incident, as a Chevrolet Corvette, allegedly connected to him, was present at the accident site.
According to statements provided by spokespeople from the Dallas Police Department, the Corvette, and a Lamborghini were street racing in the far-left lane of the 6600 block of northbound North Central Expressway at approximately 6:25 p.m. local time. The situation escalated when the drivers lost control, resulting in the Lamborghini veering onto the shoulder and colliding with the center median wall. This collision set off a chain reaction involving four additional vehicles.
“The occupants of the Lamborghini and the Corvette all ran from the scene without stopping to determine if anyone needed medical help or providing their information,” the police spokespeople disclosed.
Following the crash, emergency responders transported two individuals from another vehicle involved in the accident to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Additionally, two other drivers received on-site medical attention from Dallas Fire-Rescue for minor injuries.
The investigation into the incident and the identification of the suspects are currently ongoing.
Rashee Rice, who recently participated in the 2024 Super Bowl as a member of the victorious Kansas City Chiefs, previously played college football at Southern Methodist University in Dallas before being drafted by the Chiefs in the 2023 NFL Draft.
At the time of reporting, neither a representative for Rashee Rice nor representatives for the Kansas City Chiefs have responded to requests for comment.
