Camera Captures Man Pulled From Burning Truck in Heroic Act

If you want to talk about being in the right place at the right time, follow us along to Anne Arundel County, Maryland to watch as an ambulance full of EMTs stumbled upon a wild situation and quickly sprung into action. It’s situations like these that really make us wonder how the piece of the bigger picture is being moved around to put some people in the exact place that they need to be.

As the emergency responders in an ambulance were driving down the highway, they just so happened to stumble upon a truck on fire. Apparently, if anyone had even called 9-1-1 yet, nobody had officially arrived on the scene. Therefore, this completely coincidental encounter had some pretty perfect timing in the favor of the motorist.

When the ambulance pulled up to the truck fire, its occupants got out and got to work. As the truck went up in flames on the interstate, the men approached the truck and broke out the window where they would find the unconscious driver inside. Fortunately, they would were able to pull the man from the seat before the truck had been completely engulfed in flames.

Who knows what could have potentially happened if these emergency responders had not just so happened to be driving by the fire? Situations like these require quick reactions and these emergency workers being in the right place at the right time might’ve just yielded a chain reaction that could’ve potentially saved a life.

The driver’s condition is unknown and the cause of the accident is under investigation. What can be said, for sure, though, is that the footage below shows off a couple of heroes. It takes a special type of person to be willing to run up to a flaming truck and risk themselves in the name of saving another.
