Ford “WildTrack” is the Off-Road SUV we ALL Needed
It’s fascinating how much one can learn from a simple scroll through TikTok.
Just a few days back, during my routine scroll through the app, a video featuring an SUV caught my attention. It looked oddly familiar yet distinctively unfamiliar, sparking my curiosity. Donning the “FORD” lettering across the front, it looked like a Ford Explorer but something about it stood out from the norm.
The vehicle in question was the Ford Everest Wildtrak. For those unfamiliar, this particular truck doesn’t cater to the United States market but instead finds its place in regions like Australia. However, after seeing it, you might just wish that they decided to bring it to the States.
Drawing parallels to the likes of the Ford Explorer, the Ford Everest, especially with its Wildtrak package, boasts a range of upgrades designed to make it stand out from the crowd. Notably, the Wildtrak offers a three-liter turbo diesel V6 engine, delivering an impressive 246 horsepower and 440 foot-pounds of torque.
The video I stumbled upon from @boysaleford showcased a Wildtrak decked out entirely in black, featuring a few modifications that truly set it apart.

Regrettably, this eye-catching SUV, with a starting price just over $74,000, isn’t rumored to make its way to the American market. Yet, considering the unpredictability seen with releases like the Ford Ranger Raptor, there’s always a chance Ford might alter their plans or surprise us with future models making their way stateside.
For a closer look at what makes this SUV pop and a glimpse into what America might be missing out on, check out the video below. It’s a tantalizing exploration of a vehicle that, for now, remains beyond our reach but maybe one day, will make its way to American soil.
