Going Full Speed in Reverse Creates the Worst Boat Ramp Fail We Have EVER Seen!
It’s pretty crazy just how many things can go wrong in a matter of seconds at the boat ramp. There are so many possible things that could fall apart, in fact, that entire YouTube channels have been dedicated to filming what happens at these ramps. With more crowded ramps like those that we see in Miami, there are many more situations where boaters end up wishing that they had just stayed in bed that day.
From people sinking entire cars to captains not really understanding how exactly to drive their boat on a trailer, there are a wide variety of videos that get worse and worse. However, this one might just hold the title of being the king of bad luck. In fact, we are pretty hard-pressed to find clips like this that really leave our jaws on the floor. In this one, though, that’s exactly what happened as we see a catastrophic crash and burn unlike any other.
From the get-go, things are pretty bad.
As a sizable boat is taken to the ramp, it appears as if the trailer that it sits on has popped off of the hitch of the vehicle that’s towing it. At the end of the day, that’s definitely not good but it’s certainly not the biggest deal in the world. Being able to unhook the boat and fish the trailer out probably wouldn’t require much of a rescue effort.
What happened next, though, is going to require a substantial rescue effort.
Shortly after, we witness what we presume to be the tow vehicle zooming backward with nobody in the driver’s seat! We’re left to assume that maybe the person in the vehicle had hopped out to see what was going on with the trailer and had forgotten to put it in reverse. Now, not only are they going to lose the trailer in the water but probably the SUV as well. We wouldn’t be too shocked if there was a good amount of damage done to the trailer, boat, and tow rig all in one.
