Uber Driver Crosses Flooded Causeway, Will do ANYTHING to Complete the Fare

In the world of Uber, things can get pretty competitive as drivers try to keep the best rating that they can. For some, this means keeping candy on hand to help their fare get more comfortable. On the other hand, maybe it means driving as safely as possible in order to make sure that your passenger doesn’t feel like they need to be on edge with your driving habits.

Just how far might an Uber go, though, to stay on course and make sure that they can get to their destination? This time, we check in with somebody who really took things to an all-new level. Let’s just say that this individual behind the wheel was super determined to get to where their fare needed to go, even if it meant pushing the limits on their vehicle just a little bit.

This time, we follow along with the situation from the sky as a cameraman was in the right place at the right time. Apparently, this causeway is one to flood quite frequently as the tide rises and covers the road. Right in the middle of some flooding, the Uber driver in question decided to push through the water and not let the depth deter them from getting to the destination.

Unfortunately, though, when part of the way across the road, the tide continued to rise and the car was left at the liberty of mother nature. It is fortunate that a rescue boat would come by to help these folks when they ended up in a pinch. Unfortunately, we can’t say for sure exactly what kind of rating this passenger left for the Uber driver. Personally, I would be inclined to give them a high rating just for the effort! This is something that not every driver is going to do for their passenger and we can’t decide if that’s a good thing or not.
