You Know You Had a Bad Day When Your Boat Leaves on a Flatbed

If there’s one area where things can definitely get a little bit sketchy, it’s at the boat ramp.

Even those with a lot of experience might find themselves out there having a bad day every now and again. However, what might be even worse is when people without experience end up putting themselves in dangerous situations. Any boater who has been around the block a couple of times will tell you that at the boat ramp, things can tend to get out of control in a hurry.

This time, we check in with a couple of individuals who seem to be having a tough time in Miami. Thanks to the Miami Boat Ramps YouTube channel, we end up finding a whole variety of situations like this where things just escalate in a hurry and before we know it, they’re out of control. If boaters are lucky, they’ll be able to walk away with their boat and their vehicle without having either one end up flooded.

In this situation, though, things got incredibly close as a boat came into the ramp and it looked like things were going the wrong way in a hurry. Straight from the get-go, the vessel was taking on water and this left the person behind the controls to try and figure out how exactly they were going to prevent the situation from going in the wrong direction. It’s definitely a spot where the ability to think quickly could help out big time.

Unfortunately, this time, it doesn’t look like the worst-case scenario would end up happening. Of course, if that boat kept taking on water, it could have been lost entirely. However, while not ideal, the help of a flatbed would have the boat yanked out of the water and able to see another day… hopefully.
