2021 Race Season Isn’t Off to a Great Start For Murder Nova as Detailed in Recent Vlog Video
As a competitive drag racer, sometimes, things can be a little bit of a challenge. When it comes right down to it, there’s a reason why many of the higher dollar operations have lots of backup components. Sometimes, they might have entire engines, transmissions, and rear ends ready to slap in the car to get back to racing when something breaks. Other times, fortunate racing operations might have an entirely different car just in case their first car ends up giving them an issue. For all of those who don’t have this luxury, this might mean that a weekend can easily be cut short.
For a lot of racers, after competing, they will find that they are constantly pulling the engine or other components of their car time after time. Let’s just say that just because you just put the engine back in doesn’t mean that the car is going to be friendly to you and hold together for as long as you had anticipated. Instead, sometimes, things can end up going in the wrong direction at the exact wrong time.
This time, we check in with the one and only Murder Nova as he says that his 2021 race season isn’t exactly starting off that well. When he headed to the track to try and get the car dialed in for a radial prep set up from a no prep setup, things started with a bang quite literally. Not only did Murder Nova end up with dinged up paint job and a broken wing but the car also ended up with some mechanical components that weren’t too happy. It appears as if the car ended up sending a rod through the block right after the guys just got the motor back in.
Things aren’t always sunshine and rainbows in the world of racing but I guess that, at the end of the day, there are much worse problems that someone could have. With the video below, we’re able to take a journey through the race day that ended up being quite a bit of a bump in that road.
