900hp Supercharged 6 Wheel Chevy C10 Gets WILD at Hoonigan
In hot rod culture, the Chevrolet C10 has become an incredibly popular platform to build upon. With an aftermarket that has run rampant, C10 owners really get the opportunity to shine, showing off their creativity through this vintage pickup truck style.
However, even in the sea of examples of folks who have picked this popular platform, there are always a couple of builds that stand out among the pack. This time, we check in with one of those machines that is going to turn heads absolutely everywhere that it goes thanks to a barrage of custom work that makes it a true one-of-one.
Part of the reason for turning heads is that it has a massive supercharger sticking out of the hood. Perhaps the feature that makes this truck more unique than that, though, is the fact that it has six wheels.
From head to toe, this ride that was featured at SEMA is nothing but unique. The owner of the pickup found inspiration in the concept that he wanted to build a real-life Hot Wheels car. From there, he would take aspects of race car and hot rod culture before sprinkling a little bit of JDM inspiration on top to concoct this finished product. When all is said and done, we think that it’s pretty safe to say that there’s no other 1965 C10 or any C10 for that matter that looks like this one does.
Below, the folks over at Hoonigan take us for a guided tour of the unique truck. During that tour, not only do we get to learn how the build came together but we also get to hear a bit about the LSX powerplant and 5 L Whipple supercharger are capable of a whopping 2500 hp. Buckle up because this mean machine has a ton to offer!
