Never Trust Your Friends When it Comes to a Sketchy Boating Situation

Everything inside of us seems to want to be able to trust our friends. In many situations, trusting a good buddy could be something that works out. However, there are situations where perhaps turning to a friend isn’t the best option. Maybe this friend just wants to help but doesn’t really know what they’re talking about. One area where these sorts of friends might be especially prevalent is that of boating.

In the world of boating, anyone with experience will tell you that the only way to really become well-rounded is with said experience. There are so many things that could happen when it comes to the different facets of boating. Whether you’re out there in the waves or launching a boat at the ramp, there are a wide variety of situations that could arise that require a little bit of fast thinking in order to save yourself or your boat.

For someone who has watched and learned over the years, most situations might not be all that much of a challenge. For a newbie, though, you’d better look out because you never know what you’re going to get.

This time, we check in with the Boat Fails of the Week from the Haulover YouTube channel that takes us inside of what might just happen if we listen to an inexperienced friend.

Down in the video below, we check in with a variety of different worst-case scenario situations as they fall right into the laps of these unfortunate boaters. Let’s just say that, at the end of the day, hopefully, all of these people learned a little something about how to react to a dangerous situation on the water. While it doesn’t look like anybody was ultimately injured, which is the most important part, there were definitely some bruised egos involved in this one. In addition, we’re willing to bet a couple of bank accounts probably took a hit as well.
