The Actors Who Were ALMOST Cast as the Fast & Furious Stars
Sometimes, when we take a look at some of our favorite TV shows and movies, we feel as if the people responsible for producing the pieces of media did a perfect job of casting. After watching a role done a certain way, we just couldn’t see another actor doing the job. For example, how awkward would The Fast & The Furious have been without the likes of Vin Diesel teaming up with Paul Walker? Thinking of any other actors playing those roles seems kind of wrong.
While some of the most iconic pieces of media to ever exist did end up coming together perfectly, behind the scenes, things weren’t always so clean. Instead, there have been a lot of close calls on big-name productions that almost had the actors behind them doing something else entirely.
As it turns out, the Fast & Furious universe is certainly no exception to this idea. Whether it was because of bad auditions or actors dropping out entirely, the final rollcall would end up featuring the names that we have all come to know and love.
This time, we tune in with the video that takes the liberty of going through some of the actors and actresses that could have potentially ended up in the series but ended up bailing for one reason or another. Personally, when we heard the name Channing Tatum thrown around for the first movie, we couldn’t help but cringe a little bit. We don’t have anything against Tatum as he has been in some pretty good flicks over the years. However, we just couldn’t picture him playing the role of Dominic Toretto.
Following along with the video below, we get to learn about the people who were supposed to play roles in some of the Furious movies but for one reason or another just didn’t.
