It’s Wild to See What Pickups Are Bringing Huge Money at Barrett-Jackson
It’s pretty crazy how, as time goes on, things that were once seen as just being old and devoid of value have now become vintage and can yield quite the crazy price tag.
This is a phenomenon that we see in the automotive world over and over again. It could be kind of hard to predict which particular models will end up bringing the big money. However, when we see some of the examples of vehicles that roll across the auction block at places like Barrett-Jackson, we can’t help but feel like maybe it would’ve been a good idea to pick one up just a couple of years ago before they shot up in value.
This time, we ride along with Barrett-Jackson as they take us through the 2021 Las Vegas event. In this particular video, we take a closer look at some of the pickup trucks that rolled across the auction block and how much money they brought.
The scope of generation here is pretty wide as we get things kicked off of with a 1950s Chevy pickup truck and quickly shift gears to a Smoky and the Bandit inspired Jeep Gladiator. What every single one of these vehicles has in common is that they bring a pretty pristine price tag. No matter what the generation, these rides are all ones that collectors are willing to pay a pretty penny for.
By following along with the video below, we get to see exactly where the pickup truck market sits these days and what areas are getting red hot. While there are some newer vehicles sprinkled in and the most expensive on the list is a 2021 Ram TRX Launch Edition, it also looks like pickup trucks from the 1970s are getting a lot more valuable in the eyes of investors and collectors.
