Whale Swallows People in Kayak, Spits Them Back Out – All Caught on Video!

There aren’t too many people who can say that they have been inside the mouth of a living animal. However, for one pair of kayakers, this precise situation would unfold and we’d imagine that it had to be one of the most terrifying things that someone could go through in a lifetime. Fortunately, though, the pair would live to tell their story without even being so much as injured.

Several video cameras were rolling on the day that these kayakers were in a two-person vessel when all of a sudden, the unthinkable happened. A day of sightseeing turned into a day of terror when the kayakers would have the water beneath them open and the mouth of a giant whale present itself, ready to consume whatever happened to get in the way.

The footage itself is rather jarring as the individuals actually end up inside of the whale’s mouth. From the look of things, it would appear that the situation was about to become deadly. However, the whale would actually end up spitting out the kayakers before anything serious happened. There’s nothing like looking your fate in the eye and narrowly escaping, only to have the entire thing captured on camera for the whole world to see.

After checking in with a video like this, we are definitely reminded how nature can have a wild side that we’re not often exposed to. While a situation like this is definitely a very rare occurrence, maybe those irrational fears about being eaten alive in the ocean aren’t so irrational after all. The simple thought of being digested while still alive is certainly one that can sit with you for a while and make you question a couple of things. For these kayakers, though, fortunately, they are still alive to question whatever they might think about.
