Ryan And Monza Put Their Undefeated Streaks On The Line Against Each Other
When it comes to racing or pretty much any form of competition, in order to be the best you’ve got to be the best. This idea is what makes television shows like Street Outlaws so exciting. Over the seasons, we have watched certain competitors build their way up to become some of the fastest in the streets. However, each year there are new people coming for them and looking to take out the current “best” to become the new king.
This time, we take a look back on Street Outlaws history to season 6. In this particular situation, there were a pair of racers who were both heading for the top. It just so happened that both Ryan Martin and Monza were both sporting an undefeated streak. In the case of Monza, he was looking at a record of 4-0 to start the season.
In the next lane over, we find perennial powerhouse, Ryan Martin, who was also undefeated with a record of 5-0.
While it is great to see a couple of racers like these guys doing well, at the end of this throwdown, only one would be able to walk away with their undefeated record. Of course, the spectators on hand kind of thought that Martin would have it in a bag. This is the fact that is highlighted by race master, Big Chief, joking to Monza that maybe Martin’s car would break and he would have a shot at winning.
However, on the contrary, the reason that we actually go out there and race is because the winner on paper isn’t the winner at all until they put their machine across the finish line first. Furthermore, Martin informed the production crew that he was out there stepping it up every single pass to see what his car can handle. He calls it a gamble but insists that this is what it takes to become the fastest car in the country. In other words, at any given point, Martin could spin the tires and forfeit the win to his competitor.
In the video below, we get to see how these two stacked up against one another back in season 6.
