Rivian R1S vs Lamborghini Urus vs Shelby F-150 Super Snake in DRAG RACING SHOWDOWN!

As performance enthusiasts, it’s always good to see a bit of variety out there on the market. These days, if one wanted a performance application mixed up with something like an SUV or a pickup truck, there are a good number of options out there to choose from. Just a couple of years ago, this certainly wasn’t the case but today, we’re lucky to say that it is.

This time, we check in with Throttle House who takes the liberty of comparing both performance SUVs and a pickup truck for good measure. The three vehicles here, while all heavyweights, couldn’t possibly be from worlds that are any more different. Not only do they offer up a variety of classes from electric to exotic but they also offer up a variety of different price points and countries of origin as well.

For starters, we check in with the Rivian R1S. Rivian is a newcomer to the automotive market but to say that they’ve come out swinging would be an understatement. The R1S is an electric SUV that is the cheapest of the three that we’re looking at today with a starting price of $92,000. With 845hp/908tq, it’s also the most powerful. At 7,000 lbs, the truck is also the heaviest as batteries aren’t light.

From there, we check in with the middle ground in terms of price. This unique contender comes in the form of a Shelby F-150 Super Snake that tips the price scale at $114,030. This particular truck makes 775 hp and the torque is unlisted. Weight-wise, there is no official figure but we would assume that it weighs somewhere in the ballpark of 5,000 lbs, much like a typical F-150.

Lastly, we check in with a Lamborghini Urus. With that Lamborghini, badge comes the highest price point. At $229k, the Urus finds itself over $100k more expensive than its competitors. While it is the lightest of the group at 4,800 lbs, it also offers the least amount of power at 6500 hp.

Long story short, this should be a pretty good race!
