Old Rivalries And Egos Flare Up Between Big Chief And Reaper | Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings
When it comes to drag racing or any competition for that matter, egos can tend to flare up. This is especially true when competitors have hundreds of thousands of dollars and lots of long, hard hours wrapped up in building a racing machine. Throw in the idea that smack talk is thrown around loosely at all times and the idea that competitors want to back it up and you have yourself a stack of factors that can make for an interesting time.
This particular “interesting time” takes us to the No Prep Kings circuit with a bit of a throwback.
At the time, Street Outlaws now wayward son, Big Chief, was just beginning to dip his toe into the world of No Prep Kings. Over the years, let’s just say that Chief and fellow competitor, Reaper, have had a little bit of a back-and-forth relationship. While Reaper seems to have a little bit of an issue with Chief, Chief claims that he doesn’t have any problem with Reaper, but who knows? It could all be part of one big game that grudge racers like to play to get in each other’s heads.
In any case, this back-and-forth would finally come to a head when Chief would make one of his early NPK passes against the man who was already used to making his way down unprepared surfaces at the racetrack and liked to mix it up with Chief, at that.
At the end of the day, it seems as if this Chief and Reaper battle is all in good fun but the competition, at the time, between these competitive individuals was all business. By following along with the video below, we got a front-row seat to see exactly how something like this unfolds. Who is going home with the win and the bragging rights?
