Redneck Barbie Jeep Racing Ends With a Big Splash
Those have never witnessed a Barbie Jeep race, boy do we have a treat for you today.
The concept, while simple in nature, is something so wild that you have to see it to believe it. Basically, the idea is that a bunch of grown and willing adults each get their hands on a Barbie Jeep. You know, one of those small motorized Jeeps that’s designed for little kids to ride around in the backyard.
However, instead of being used by youngsters, these toys are used in an entirely different manner.
As everybody gathers around the hill that’s incredibly steep and sometimes curved, competitors will get a running start before making their way to the edge. As the rules go, the one to go from top to bottom the quickest is the winner. It just so happens that in this particular competition, there’s also a rather sizable muddy puddle at the bottom for a little bit of an extra splash at the end of the event.
While something like this might sound like a smooth and slick ride to the bottom, we can guarantee that it’s anything but. As it turns out, these toys that weren’t exactly designed for high-speed acceleration tend to do their riders wrong at some point during the descent. Between the speed and the weight that the toys shouldn’t be handling either, things can tend to get a little bit tumultuous from time to time.
By following along with the coverage from Triple X Motorsports and Outdoors with the video below, we get a front-row seat to this wild and crazy action. After seeing this one go down, we would have to imagine that there are some bumps, bruises, and maybe a couple of headaches after competing in such a wild ride.
Would you be willing to give a competition like this a spin?
