“Resurrection Detail” Makes Old Square Body Look NEW Again!
Sometimes, for one reason or another, some pretty cool vehicles can be left behind and forgotten about. Whether it’s issues with the vehicle that pile up to the point where it’s not worth repair or maybe life getting in the way of doing that project that you’ve been thinking about, lots of cool cars and trucks are just sitting these days!
This time, we turn our attention to a pretty cool field find. The truck in question is a 1986 Chevy Silverado C10. These days, these trucks are actually rising in value so seeing one come back to life is an awesome experience.
Now, a lot of times, when we check in with videos like this, they focus on the mechanical side of things. Naturally, it’s going to be interesting to see if a truck like this will be able to breathe life and see the road once again. A full 180 to a point where it could be driving again would be ideal.
This time, though, we check in with another side of things that just as fascinating. In this one, we take a look at the detailing work that’s invested to bring a truck like this back to life again.
When this old-school Chevy was located, let’s just say that it had its fair share of crud baked in. It didn’t look good at all. However, with a couple of interesting detailing tricks along with a little bit of elbow grease and some time investment, the truck is able to come back to life once again. We have to say that it’s incredibly satisfying to watch all of that mold and dirt just crumble away into the ground.
By following along with the video below, we get to see what is called a “Resurrection detail” which we think is actually a pretty appropriate name. After looking like a truck that has been sitting for 10 years… Because it has… This thing is made to look pretty darn good after MAD DETAILS got his hands on it.
