The Crew From the 405 Unites to Take Down California Hustlers
To the casual onlooker, drag racing on the track and on the street might look similar. However, those who have participated in both know that the two are incredibly different ball games.
When it comes to racing on the street, the physical conditions of the racing surface are much more challenging. While a race track, even a “no prep” race track, is relatively predictable to an extent, the street throws a curveball that can really mix things up. One never knows what kind of cars went down the street or if dirt is on the surface or something of the like. Essentially, the street just isn’t a place that was designed for racing like a track is which can make the conditions much more challenging.
Not only that but when it comes to racing on the street as well, there are typically many more games being played. As it turns out, if you want to be successful street racing, you’re going to have to be a pretty good hustler as well. Somebody who is new to the hustle is just basically signing up to go out there and get their money taken if they don’t know what’s going on.
This time, we follow along with the crew from the 405 as they head out to California to try and take down the West Coast drivers in a situation that shows just how such a hustle comes to life. Up first, we check in with the racer who goes by the name of Gypsy Mike as he lines up with Ryan Martin. From what the crew in the 405 says, Gypsy Mike is a notorious hustler himself and has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. Martin will have to be on his A-game to take home the cash and the win.
Following that competition, we get to see a variety of other 405 legends hit the streets in this throwback. Some of the familiar faces include Murder Nova, Jeff Lutz, and Big Chief among others.
