Explore The 2021 Ford Bronco Wildtrak And All The Features
Now that the Ford Bronco is making its way into the hands of the public, we can begin to start looking at expanding upon what we ask of it. In fact, the Bronco comes in a couple of different packages to really quench the thirst for whatever it is that the buyer plans on doing with the vehicle.
The most popular package so far was the First Edition that came out with the launch of the Bronco and sold out in all of 12 hours. Obviously, the rarity was sure to drive this limited release. However, a substantial amount of these vehicles are going to be equipped with what’s known as the “Wildtrak” package. In fact, Ford has come out and said that over a quarter of Broncos ordered is equipped with Wildtrak equipment.
Wildtrak comes standard with what’s known as the Sasquatch package. This includes bead-lock-capable wheels, 35-inch mud-terrain tires, front and rear locking differentials, Bilstein position-sensitive monotube shocks, a 4.7 final drive ratio, and higher clearance fender flares. Naturally, this is going to appeal to people who are looking to take their journey off of the beaten path. The Bronco seems to have this off-road heritage built-in but with a package like this, the person behind the wheel will be able to take that journey even further.
All examples fitted with the package will come with the 2.7 L EcoBoost V6 from Ford. The application is capable of 310 hp and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Wildtrak is going to be a bit of a step up in price. While the baseline for the 2021 Bronco starts at $28,500, this particular version will begin at $46,980. Down in the video below from The Bronco Nation, we get the tour of what exactly all of that extra money is purchasing. At the end of the day, do you think that the Wildtrak is worth the extra investment?
