Build Breakdown Dissects Joe Rogan’s SPOTLESS 1969 Camaro
Those who follow along closely with the career and interests of Joe Rogan know that he has some hobbies that hit close to home for the automotive community. We’re talking, of course, about Joe’s passion for just about everything with wheels. One spin through his collection will reveal everything from classic American muscle all the way to custom off-road machines.
Perhaps, one of the cleanest items in Rogan’s collection is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS that is absolutely stunning. This customized creation from The Roadster shop has left no stone unturned in the pursuit of perfection.
As the shop who built it describes the car, the Camaro is “Clean and modernized, but with the essence of a ’69 at its core, with just the right amount of subtle RS details throughout.”
At the heart of the build is an 860HP Wegner-built GM LSA engine that’s mated to a Bowler T-56 Magnum XL transmission to give the car that classic feel of rowing through the gears.
As we said, no stone has been left unturned with the build and that means that the drivetrain is just where things begin. Everything from wheels and tires to brakes and body parts has been changed in one way or another to bring the car to life.
The Roadster Shop continues “Function and form truly go hand in hand with this build, with very few elements, outside or in, left untouched.”
We could go on explaining all that has been done to the machine but we think that the folks who built it would do a better job of explaining all of the special touches that come together. There are even 3D printed parts found on the car that really give it that one-of-one feel and take customization to a new level!
By following along with the video below, we get an up-close and personal view of this insanely clean machine and a build breakdown that takes us inside of every last nut and bolt that makes this Camaro great.
