Claude Banks Regal Throws Down With End Game Competitors For $100k in Vegas Showdown
Many of those keeping up with Street Outlaws have been especially excited to see the new products that the crew has had up its sleeve. With the introduction of Street Outlaws: End Game, fans have been treated to a little bit of a twist that actually has an air of nostalgia to it. Instead of racing the big tire purpose-built race cars that we’ve become accustomed to seeing on Street Outlaws, competitors would be asked to construct a streetcar bat is a little bit simpler. While playing within a certain set of rules, these cars essentially end up being machines that cannot only throw down on the street but should also be able to get the drivers around town if they really wanted to as well. The idea was to build a product that was a little bit more relatable to fans, showcasing something that could realistically be built in a common enthusiast’s garage if they put their mind to it.
As far as social media reaction goes, so far, lots of fans have definitely found themselves entrenched in some of the builds that have come out so far. As the first season rolls on, one of the fan favorites seems to come in the form of “Claude Banks,” the Buick Regal put together by Kye Kelley.
Between the show and Kelley’s YouTube channel, we have watched the car come together. We aren’t just talking about the assembly, either, as its owner has shown us the testing process and what exactly it takes to get a car from being assembled to ready to compete.
In the video down below, we check in with a competition that puts some of the End Game builders up against one another for a $100,000 prize in the Las Vegas desert. As Kelley tells us, he didn’t have much time after building the car before he had to push it into the trailer and what we see now is him rolling it out and starting to race it. We’re sure that a lot of the other competitors are in the same boat so it’s probably safe to say that this is just the beginning of a beautiful competition.
