As time goes on and the push for the electric vehicle takeover becomes more prevalent, it seems as if the boundaries and restrictions that impact those who want to compete in motorsports or build cars as a hobby are getting tougher and tougher.

Over the past couple of years, diesel-powered vehicles have been at the forefront of this conversation as different agencies have attempted to really bring down the hammer on anyone who modifies a diesel truck. This time, we check in with YouTube creator, Rich Rebuilds, who is in the midst of building a diesel-swapped Tesla. Unfortunately, the EPA has reached out to him and said that the car does violate the clean air act and that infractions can result in the removal of registration and as much as $45,000 in fines per incident.
