Axman Hauls Rusty ’34 Ford From the Weeds to Compete on “Street Outlaws: End Game”
In the name of going back to the show’s roots and maybe being a little bit more relatable to the average hot rodder, the Street Outlaws production team has decided to unleash Street Outlaws: End Game. The spinoff show essentially makes an effort to bring the cars back to the day and age where they were true street machines, affording drivers the ability to drive to and from the race location along with allowing the cars to cruise around town without having an issue.
This time, we check in with one of the competitors who is putting together a new ride to throw down in this new format. While many of the racers on the show are going with more traditional platforms, it turns out that Axman wanted to go with something a little bit more unconventional. In fact, he didn’t even go with a starting point that was clean and free of rust.
This time, we check in as another End Game build comes together and this one is very literally pulled from the weeds. The 1934 Ford was spotted in a field, becoming cluttered with an overgrowth of plants before it was rescued for the sake of the show and Axman decided to put the shell to good use.
There are certainly a fair share of challenges to go along with such a creation. For example, something that started out with a whopping 95 hp is going to have to be strengthened up in just about every way imaginable to be able to handle its new output. In addition, considerations like how exactly the cooling system is going to work are going to be a challenge as there’s nothing modern about this chassis.
By following along with the video below, we get to catch up with how exactly this build came together and how Axman plans to put it to good use.
