Debate Sparked After Shaq Drives Away in a Smart Car – Is he Serious or a Big Troll?

On the heels of a successful career, an NBA legend like Shaquille O’Neal should be able to buy just about whatever car he wants. In fact, Shaq does have a variety of cars that he finds different uses for. It’s kind of hard to keep up with and always evolving collection but we have seen him in everything from jacked up trucks to supercars that will fit him.

However, when the paparazzi caught up with Shaq in New York City, he would end up finding his way into an unsuspecting ride. When the legend was ready to leave this particular New York City location, the valet would roll up to the curb with Shaquille’s car. The press was pretty surprised to find out that he was hopping into a Smart Car.

Now, this is definitely something that has a lot of dynamics that we need to consider. First and foremost, the car is obviously incredibly small for the super sized athlete. For those who aren’t in the know, Shaq clocks in at 7-foot-1 and over 300 lbs. That doesn’t necessarily seem like the type of frame that would fit into a typical Smart Car given that it’s one of the smallest cars that money can buy to be used llegally on the street.

However, the scene is all too casual as the supersized NBA legend just hopped into the car and drives away. The reporter that was once filled with questions and lots to say almost seem to be silenced when witnessing the scene. We can’t say that we blame this reporter, either. It’s just not every day that you witness a giant getting into a clown car.

After seeing this one, we can’t help but wonder what Shaq’s favorite cars are in his collection. Surely he couldn’t be driving around in a Smart Car all the time… Or could he?
