Dominator Flexes the Muscles on His Updated Dart at NPK

As the No Prep Kings season is in full effect, we have been looking out for some of the fan-favorite Street Outlaws to see exactly where they stack up. As far as Dominator goes, he didn’t make the first pair of NPK events. From what we’re told, he was thrashing to try and finish up getting his car together after the latest round of updates.

This really goes to show that thrashing for that finish line at the last minute is kind of a way of life in the drag racing community. It doesn’t matter if you’re at the top or just getting started, there’s always that need to get things done at the last minute before heading off to the track.

In any case, this time, we get to see the Hemi-powered Dodge Dart make its way to action with a little bit of an update to the suspension as well. Certainly, we would think that eventually, this thing is going to start picking up a head of steam to become a top competitor on the circuit. As of now, though, it seems as if Dominator still trying to iron a couple of things out. Even though the machine didn’t make the greatest hits at the latest grudge racing session, Dominator certainly got a lot of good data to be able to improve the setup.

Down in the video below, the folks from the National No Prep Racing Association take us to the scene to see exactly how the Dart is moving into the no prep world. While the early signs show a little bit of a struggle, we will definitely keep an eye on this team as they seem to have what it takes to make a solid push as the season matures toward the fall.
