Rescue Cam: Three Children, Six Adults Saved From Quickly Sinking Boat

While aboard a boat, it’s important to have a good idea of what’s going on with your surroundings. Why? Let’s just say that there’s definitely a reason why the law states that you need to have a life jacket on board for every person. It’s simply because those who are experienced know that when things happen, they can definitely happen in a hurry and get pretty rough. It’s better to be safe than sorry.

This time, we get a real-time idea of just how quickly something can turn from normal to deadly in a matter of seconds. For this family of nine aboard thier boat, they ended up in some rough water that the vessel and captain couldn’t handle for one reason or another. When trying to turn around and avoid these conditions, the boat would be hit by several waves and eventually start taking on water.

Luckily, rescue would come to find them and attach a tow strap to the boat to try and get it out of harm’s way. However, when the tow strap broke, the boat began to take on water more quickly than it had before. This is where things really begin to get scary. Before we know it, everybody aboard the vessel is thrust into the water, and let’s just say that it wasn’t exactly a calm day out there.

This is when rescue had to act quickly in order to get the people involved out of the water and back to safety. In just a matter of seconds, rescuers on jet skis swoop in, pulling everybody from the sinking vessel and on the rescue boat. If rescue hadn’t come, who really knows exactly how this would’ve all panned out? When mother nature gets angry, there’s no telling exactly how quickly a body of water could consume a boat.
