Shawn Ellington Adds Another Bucket List Vehicle, Sends Man Van Into the Sunset
With many fan-favorite Street Outlaws cast members, we really get to know them for one car in particular. For example, Shawn Ellington has gained his nickname, “M*rder Nova” because of the blacked-out Chevrolet Nova that he has piloted to rule the streets for decades.
However, these machines that get the majority of the camera time aren’t all of the hot rods that exist in the stable of Street Outlaw’s competitors. In fact, we think that it’s pretty safe to say that when you love cars enough to race for a living, there’s a pretty good chance that you’re going to have at least a couple of other toys hanging out in the garage that isn’t designed for race day.
This time, Ellington takes us along for the ride to give us a little bit of a glimpse of what his collection has been up to. As it turns out, over the past couple of years, he has been chasing down some of the machines on his bucket list and the collection is growing.
In this particular outing, Ellington once again says goodbye to the “Man Van,” a Chevrolet Trailblazer SS that he seems to have a lot of admiration for, so much so that he got it back after selling it the first time. In this situation, though, it looks like he’s going to say goodbye to the SUV for the final time as it heads off to Kentucky.
After getting old reliable out on the road, Ellington takes us inside of his garage to show off a new acquisition, a turbo Pontiac Trans Am that is in spectacular condition. The third-generation car that he received in a trade for his Trailblazer has just 34,000 miles on and it looks so clean that one could eat off of it. According to Ellington, these things are definitely not easy to come by in this day and age, especially when they’re in this condition.
