Twin Turbo Lamborghini Attempts to Tow 10,000 lbs
I’m not sure that very many of us have taken a look at a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo and wondered what the towing capacity is. Sure, towing capacity is an important metric for the right demographic. That demographic just so happens to not be the people who are shopping for an exotic car, though.
On the flip side, when we take a look at the world of YouTube creators, we see just about every idea flushed out in the name of getting a couple of views here and there. The business model seems rather successful although it uses some pretty unconventional subject matter to rake in that dough.
This time, we check in with the aforementioned Lamborghini. This isn’t just any Lamborghini, though, as the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo is equipped with a couple of turbos that crank out 1250 hp to all four wheels. Naturally, that sort of power is more than enough to pull quite a heavy load. However, the power isn’t what’s in question when it comes to this Lamborghini getting the job done. Instead, we all can’t help but wonder if the super lightweight frame is going to be heavy-duty enough to stand up to the challenge that its owner has put in front of the car.
There’s only one way to it and that’s to do it. In order to get into the action, YouTube creator, Alex Choi, finds a couple of unique pieces of cargo to test out this hypothesis. The cargo includes the likes of a pickup truck and even a Lamborghini Urus SUV that certainly isn’t lightweight.
Down in the video below, we catch up with plenty of theatrics that attempts to test out the towing capacity of an exotic that would be considered monstrous on a variety of different criteria but probably not towing capacity. Can it get the job done, though? It’s time to find out.
