Cosmotron Car: Designer Builds Sci-Fi Vehicle In His Back Yard

With 18 months worth of time and a little bit of innovation, Paul Bacon was able to build his dream car off of the platform of a BMW Z3.

The back yard built, purple coated ride known as “The Cosmotron” looks almost like something out of a futuristic science fiction movie and that’s exactly what he was going for.

After his wrench time, the car yields more than a few stares and pictures, rightfully so, when driven around town. However, the thrill of the attention is nothing compared to the thrill of the build, if you ask Paul.
