DIY TurboJet Engine Fail
When it comes to creating your own turbojet engine, I would assume that there isn’t exactly a cookie-cutter list of parts out there or any real defined directions on how to put them together. It’s probably a lot of guessing and seeing exactly what works to bring something like this together.
This time, we check out someone’s DIY turbojet as it spools up and comes to life but after just a few minutes of running, the creators behind the engine would discover that maybe it would’ve been a good idea to spend a little bit more on the parts that went into plumbing this beast.
The video below shows off what happens when you use cheap rubber hoses to plum an engine that surely creates tons of heat instead of stepping it up and getting something that’s a little bit more resistant to heat such as the steel tubing that was used in the final construction of this engine. It’s all a learning process and learn, they did! Check it all out below!
