Dog Gets Caught on Video Doing Donuts in Family Car
Sometimes, it can feel like we might have a day or even a week where things just aren’t going right. Maybe things aren’t exactly aligning properly at work. Perhaps, our personal lives are throwing us a bit of a curveball. However, whenever that happens, there’s always a situation where things could be worse. At the end of the day, you’re not going to end up being that person whose dog was able to steal their car and drive it around in the cul-de-sac.
It almost seems like something that might act as some sort of fallacious clickbait headline. When we read that a dog was caught on video doing donuts in the family car, it feels like somebody is trying too hard to get views. However, when we made our way to the video, the news report within would reveal a very real situation, indeed.
It appears as if somebody let the family dog in the car while it was running. Perhaps it was an attempt to give the dog the relief of air conditioning on a hot day. However, that plan quickly backfired when scruffy ended up climbing in the front seat and knocking the car into gear. From there, the vehicle would proceed to continue driving in circles around the cul-de-sac with the dog wandering around inside.
Luckily, the entire incident was pretty low speed and nobody got hurt. Outside of a mailbox, not much damage was done. We would say that they got away pretty lucky considering all the circumstances.
One notable part of the story is that it took police about an hour to be able to subdue the vehicle and get the dog out. I guess that this one will make a couple of folks think twice next time before they decide to leave their vehicle running with their dog inside.
