Go For a Ride in a Real 426 Hemi 1969 Dodge Daytona Charger!

Talk about getting an opportunity to ride in a rare car, this could be one of the rarest cars on the planet.

Lou Costabile from My Car Story caught up with Tom Lembreck, the owner of this 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona Hemi, one of only a handful built with Hemi engines and one of only two built in this gorgeous Spring Green color.

Not only does Lou get an up-close look at the rare Daytona, Tom actually loads him up and takes him for a quick spin through the busy city streets, where they manage to catch a couple of redlights and squeal the tires when they get the green. They then take the car to an open section of a parking lot and do a couple more launches before heading back to the museum, where the car usually resides. This is truly a rare opportunity and we have to admit we’re a little jealous!
