Kye Kelley’s “Shocker” vs Dixieland Pro Mod at the Dirty South No Prep Series
Kye Kelley loaded up his nitrous-huffing Shocker Camaro and headed to San Antonio Raceway for the latest Dirty South No Prep series event, where he faced off with the Dixieland Pro Mod Corvette.
After the pair laid down long, smoky burnouts to lay down some fresh rubber on the un-prepped surface, they back into their black marks to try to get as much traction off the line as possible. They pull up to the line, bump into the staging beams and launch hard, reaching half track almost welded together. As you can see, that’s where things go sideways, quite literally, for the Shocker. Kye’s car heads toward the centerline, and when he corrects it takes a hard move toward the retaining wall, causing him to have to lift.
In the other lane, the Dixieland Pro Mod Corvette was charging straight down the left lane, taking the win as Kelley coasted through the stripe a few car lengths behind.
