New Rumors Say Dodge Demon Has Up To 1000+ Horsepower
Regardless of how the up and coming Dodge Demon will actually perform in the real world with an everyday driver behind the wheel, you have to admit one thing. Dodge has managed to do job of getting all eyes on their latest and greatest performance flagship machine through a series of cryptic messages that all seem to add up to what the Demon might become when the cover is pulled off of it tomorrow and all of the details of this machine are finally spilled at the New York Auto Show. The entire car community has been drawn into this long series of sneaky messaging that should all be explained soon.
This time, however, we check out a couple of last second attempts at cracking the code that surrounds the car that has seemed to make the most noise out of them all recently and YouTuber, NEO Auto, the guy who has been doing quite the job of putting together the pieces that assemble this monumental release, gives us one last shot at talking about the most important number of them all: how much horsepower this thing is eventually going to make.
Now, in this video, we learn that he has discovered through various different sources, including numbers hidden in Dodge’s marketing materials, that we can expect the Demon to have three different modes. You would be inclined to think that one the first one at 757hp is for street driving, the second at 815hp might be for if you want to unleash some nasty on pump gas and the third which supposedly clocks in at 1023hp and requires 100 octane fuel and an extra PCM that is said to be a factory option will probably be a setting that you’re going to want to use when it comes time for a couple of passes at your local track.
Check out the video down below that describes exactly how these numbers came to be published and enjoy the newly leaked images of what the Dodge Demon should look like when the covers come off. We’re all excited to see exactly what the truth is behind the Demon when we get to see it once and for all tomorrow, but for now, this speculation will have to do. One thing is for sure: we’re amped up to see this thing hit the streets and tracks around the country!
