Slammed 1970 Dodge Charger “SOLO” at 2017 Detroit Autorama
Our favorite car show enthusiast, Scottie from the ScottieDTV YouTube channel headed up to Detroit for the 2017 Detroit Autorama, where he caught up with this menacing 1970 Dodge Charger. You can tell why the car grabbed Scottie’s attention from the very first second it appears on screen, as it is obviously one of the most well-thought out and complete builds we’ve ever seen, as far as the theme and color scheme go. The car has a great matte black finish that extends throughout with purple accents and black chrome trim. As you might expect, these colors work very well together and give the car and amazing attitude that just screams “look at me!”
The massive Litespeed Racing wheels and white-letter Toyo tires really add a nice touch to the already gorgeous exterior of this insane ride. Scottie, being the YouTube celeb that he is, gets to go behind the ropes and look in the car, and the interior is every bit as badass as the exterior. While it screams “racecar”, it actually looks to have all of the creature comforts you’d ever want or need. This means you can load up in this ride and hit the road with no real destination in mind and should be just fine for as long as you want to ride.
Under the hood, the matte black and purple theme continues as the awesome engine bay swallows up the badass 730 horsepower R5 NASCAR powerplant.
There’s no denying, the builder of this car wanted a menacing attitude and he absolutely nailed it. Thanks as always to Scottie D for heading out and getting these awesome footage. We can always count of ScottieDTV to have a close up look at the coolest street rods and coverage of the biggest rod runs and car shows out there.
