Souped Up 30hp Dinghy Racing at the Riverland Dinghy Derby
If you can find a machine that will move under its own power, we can almost guarantee you that there is a way that you can race it, if you can’t go out there and find someone who already is racing whatever machine it is that you have managed to come up with.
While the dinghy might be a small boat that’s used to navigate around in smooth waters at a low speed, this time, we check out a group of folks who have completely found a new purpose for the small boats that’s just a little bit more intense than their original duty.
In this video, we check out a group of dinghies that are said to be souped up to produce right around 30 hp and, while that might not seem like very much, in something that weighs practically nothing, well, these things end up flying in the water in a pretty intense battle.
Check out the video below that shows off the souped up streamlined boats that go to war with one another, ripping around the course at the Riverland Dinghy Derby that really put some of these guys to the task of outrunning one another.
