The Ultimate Sleeper Jeep Comes to LIFE

When it comes to the drag strip, we often see a lot of the same thing, but this time, we catch a BigKleib34 video from Cecil County Dragway that shows off a Jeep that’s just a little bit against the grain.

Where the drag racing Jeep begins to be different is quite obvious. How many times before can you say that you’ve seen an open top Jeep scoot down the track? “Just about never” is our answer.

The uniqueness continues as we journey under the hood, finding not an LSx or even a Hemi, but instead a 401ci AMC engine. The owner tells us that this is a new setup and this is his first pass down the track.

Check out the video and watch as this Jeep test ‘n tunes its way to mid 13s. Due to rain, this was the only pass that the Jeep made, but from what we understand, it’s capable of 11s and the owner plans for 10s long term. It will be interesting to see this build come to fruition.
