The VERY First Corvettes Being Built – 1953
Today, we check out a piece of history that shows us where our roots developed from. While, today, most processes are automated, that wasn’t always the case.
Instead of having a machine do the job, cars in 1953 were put together by hand, piece by piece as captured in this home behind the scenes movie.
In this year, only 300 Chevrolet Corvettes were made, 255 of which are said to have survived as of when this video was posted in 2013, making the process all that much more interesting.
You might want to skip around in this one as it progresses a bit slow, but it’s still interesting to see where it all began. My, oh my, how things have changed since then.
